Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to take your order, get your dish to you and keep the shop running well. We never sell or rent your personal information. This page explains, plainly, what is gathered and who helps us handle it.

Who is responsible

HUA TONG INTERNATIONAL (HK) LIMITED runs the Clovehush store and is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at info@clovehush.com; our customer service email is available 24/7.

What we collect

Card details are entered on the payment processor's secure form. We never receive or store your full card number.

Who helps us, and what they see

We share information only with the companies we rely on to run the store, and only what they need:

• Shopify hosts our website, checkout and order system, so it processes the details you enter and the browsing data from your visit. See Shopify's privacy policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
• Our payment processor (Shopify Payments and the card networks, or PayPal and wallet providers such as Apple Pay or Google Pay if you pick them) handles your payment details to charge you and prevent fraud.
• The Meta pixel (Meta Platforms, owner of Facebook and Instagram) is a small piece of code on our pages. It tells Meta about visits and purchases so we can see whether our ads work and show them to people likely to be interested. Meta may link this to your Meta account under its own policy.
• Carriers and postal services receive your name, address and sometimes your email or phone to deliver the parcel.
• Our email tool stores your address if you subscribe to our newsletter.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our customers, our business or others from fraud or harm.

What we never do

• We never sell or rent your personal information.
• We never share it with other brands for their own marketing.
• We never send you marketing emails you did not sign up for.

Cookies and similar tools

Cookies keep your bag working, remember your preferences and help us understand how the site is used. Some come from Shopify and some from the Meta pixel. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage advertising cookies on our Your Privacy Choices page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honour it as an opt-out of sale or sharing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually around seven years. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Emails you send us are kept while they are useful for your order or support history, then deleted.

Keeping it safe

Our checkout is encrypted and hosted by Shopify, which is certified to the PCI DSS standard for card payments. We limit who can see customer details and use them only for running the store.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under US state laws such as California's CCPA, or the GDPR, you may ask to:

• see the personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• have it deleted, subject to records we must keep by law;
• opt out of targeted advertising or any "sale" or "sharing" as defined by law;
• withdraw consent to marketing at any time.

Send any request to info@clovehush.com. We will confirm who you are and reply within the time the law allows, and we will never treat you differently for using your rights.

Children

Our shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16; if you believe a child has given us details, tell us and we will delete them.

International transfers

Our company is based in Hong Kong and our providers work around the world, so your information may be processed outside your own country. Where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a fresh date at the top.
